A Situation Analysis to Identify Challenges to Sustainable Management of Ecosystems to Maximise Poverty Alleviation: Securing Biostability in the Amazon/Andes


This project forms part of the : NERC DFID ESRC Ecosystems services and poverty alleviation programme


The project is a collaboration between King's College London, CIAT,WWF,TNC, The Amazon Initiative, UNAL and CONDESAN.

King's College London is responsible for coordinating Work Package 1 A GIS and modelling analysis of the baseline and scenarios for the provision of environmental services in the Andes and Amazon, potential for poverty alleviation and impacts of ecosystem management
